11/22/2007 - TK is now into Pirates for some reason. Everything he draws ha a Pirate ship on it and he wants to be a ship's captain when he grows up. He even dressed up as a pirate for Halloween. He was the "Good" pirate (Will Turner from Pirates of the Caribbean) and not the "bad" one (Captain Jack). Recently he has turned Kris' couch into the Mayflower (he learned about it in school) where he and Koji take trips around the world. Although Koji tries to jump ship when TK is not paying attention. I thought we would use this page to show TK's favorite activity. At the moment it is his favorite thing to do is to play with his Thomas the Train set. He has the wooden trains and several track, destinations, and bridge sets. Later I will have to get his help to list them out. I think he has them memorized. :p His favorite movie is Cars or as he calls it Madagascar (I think his version of Nascar). He loves all things Cars with "Lightening in the Queen" as he calls the main character. He has been playing his Cars Leapster game a lot lately. When not playing with Thomas the Train he is either running around outside with Mushu or watching the Sprout Channel. He is also entertained by the Food Network channel since Vern watches this a lot. Maybe he will be our chef that will cook for us later. :) 10/14/2006 - TK seems to be taking Momma's hospital stay in stride. We told him that she is there jus in case Koji wants to come out early. Since he has been so good about it I got him the Blue L-Max Leapster, the recharger, backpack, and two games (Thomas the Train and Reading with Phonics). This one was much better than the V-tech, which he lost in a store, since it has a screen cover and rechargeable battery. He was going through batteries like candy with the other unit. We are working on his reading at night so we are hoping this will help him in the car during commutes. Not sure he can read yet, I think he is memorizing the words rather than the process. 1/6/2007 - TK now has enough tracks and destinations to cover his entire room floor with Thomas the Train tracks. Although he now needs to find the street and car sets for his Thomas the Train.
